SoftCopy is the easiest way if you want to read your developments from SE80 offline and without an SAP system.

SoftCopy saves developments of the SE80 as HTML files on your local hard drive. Dependencies in SAP are not taken into account for performance reasons. You can view the HTML files as a web portal in any browser. The pages resemble the appearance in the SAPGUI.

The goal is the documentation and local storage of the source code. Transport from one SAP system to another is not intended.

SoftCopy is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

Latest release is: 20210302

All that is required for installation is to download the current version, copy it to a new program (SE38) and activate it. The program can then be executed.

SoftCopy does not change any data in SAP systems. Only read accesses are made.

With the current SoftCopy version, the following can be downloaded:

    • Dictionary Objects
      • Database Tables
